Fine Art

I've always loved drawing and painting, and even though these days I'm surrounded by all things digital, I still love to get my hands dirty with paint and set my clothes on fire welding steel whenever I can spare the time. Someday, I'd love to get organized enough to create a cohesive body of work and have a show somewhere.

steel scuplture wheel
"Wheel", Welded Steel, 45" High, 2006
Watercolor of Barbados Poolside
"Barbados Poolside", Watercolor, 4" x 6", 2004. I made this tiny postcard sized painting on-site while on a trip to Barbados to search for evidence of the house my great-grandmother once lived in at Bathsheba.
Watercolor of Still Life
"Still Life", Watercolor, 10" x 7", 2011. I painted a series of these still lives as exercises. If you can paint a respectable watercolor, you can paint anything. I've still got a ways to go.
